Teenager given an interim ASBO

A TEENAGER has been given an interim Anti-social Behaviour Order (ASBO) preventing him from causing any person harassment, alarm or distress.
Jack Robert Dainty, 19, of Lent Green Lane, Burnham is forbidden from entering Burnham High Street and surrounding roads between 6pm and 6am daily.
The order, which was granted by Wycombe Magistrates Court, following a successful application by the South Bucks Community Safety Partnership, prohibits him from being verbally or physically intimidating or threatening to any person anywhere in the United Kingdom and he must not associate with Jack Donovan Hearn, Lawrence McLaughlin, John Appleton, Chad Robinson, Ashley Canavan or Joss Urbanski.
PC Andy McDonnell, anti-social behaviour officer, said: "The interim ASBO has the same powers as a full ASBO and is designed to give the community immediate respite from persistent anti-social behaviour. The alleged behaviour relates to anti-social activities by groups of young men, where Dainty is a prominent figure."
Cllr Shorne Tilbey, of South Bucks District Council, said: "The work done by Thames Valley Police and the council's joint anti-social behaviour team to obtain this interim order is a clear indication that the partnership is keen to use any powers available to deal with alleged antisocial behaviour. The purpose of this order is to prevent future nuisance behaviour from this individual which affects our community. We will continue to work together to deal with anti-social behaviour of this nature and this will lead to less antisocial behaviour in our community which is good news for everyone."
The order, which was made on Monday, January 25, is in place until a further order is made.
Anyone who wants to report a breach of Dainty's interim ASBO can call police on 08458 505505 or Carole Bennett, South Bucks District Council's anti-social behaviour intervention officer, on 01895 837253.
