i dont know what i find more eye-brow raising - that he stole rubber gloves, or that someone reported rubber gloves stolen. the mind boggles.

These bloody foreigners. Come from a poor country with not even a proper toilet and then have the audacity to come here break things and keep choring peoples stuff.
Boot them that commit crimes out immediately i say.

Winston how do you know he's a foreigner? do you know him personally? or do you assume everyone who hasn't got a British name to be foreign.

I have to agree Ian. how completely ignorant. rather embarassing for him really, making the
assumption that all foreign people are trouble. people could say the same thing about my partner who is foreign, but he pays 40% tax so that english people can have NHS care and benefits.
every country has its criminals, and yes, there is a problem with a foreign criminal element in slough, but lets be real here, its an element, not every foreigner, and we have our fair share of english criminals in slough also. in fact i would imagine the numbers are pretty fairly matched.
people will always see what they want to see. besides, some people will just say what they like to get a reaction, so im pretty sure this is the last response ill ever make to one of winstons posts.

The thought went through my head as I read the article "Why did he steal rubber gloves?" That is a strange one, but, would interesting to know the answer too.

He chored the gloves because he did not have any. Hence whythe police more than likely matched him to all the other crimes through the fingerprinting process. He may have used the gloves to commit further crimes that the police do not know about or can be linked to him as no prints may have been left. Unless he had cold hands.
And how fickle of HMMM to post that her foreign partner pays 40% tax so that English people can have NHS care and benefits. He is paying for what he one day may need not for everyone else, and he will draw a pension from what he pays in when he retires. To suggest that he is paying 40% tax to pay for everyone else is the biggest load of old tosh i have ever heard.
Anyone who comes as a foreigner to this country AND commits crimes and behaves disrespectfully (in my opinion only(which i am entitled to))should be banished at once and deported.
Everyone else who is decent should clearly stay and would be most welcomed by the British people.
The same if English criminals went to foreign lands and for example leaned in through a mud hut and stole a lettuce should be also sent packing.

dont worry SA, he made another embarassing assumption - that my partner doesnt pay for private health care and that he intends to spend his retirement in the UK. much like the many english professionals who live and work abroad, they dont necessary intend to live there after they finish work. oh, and theres that curious thing called a private pension.
also, (of course missing the point again), noone was in fact saying that foreigners should be allowed to stay in the UK after committing a crime. (i for one think they should be deported after serving their time, depending on the severity of the crime etc). i know it would be useful if they had, as you could then avoid the point that WAS being made - which was that this man may be english by birth, and that not all foreigners are criminals.
i know, i know, i said i wouldnt respond, but sometimes i have to chuckle. oh, and maybe look up the definition of fickle sometime. (hint - disloyal, likely to change). im sure there are far better words you could call me, unfortunately im pretty sure they all would roll off my back :-)

If your partner decides to pay for PRIVATE HEALTH CARE pensions then that has nothing to do with him being a foreigner paying 40% tax , if he pays that that is up to him or her (in case you are a same s*x couple, i would not want to make the wrong assumption) Saa you have nothing constructive to say yourself just talking a load of drivel , who says i don't know Asid and his brother Waheed Iqbal? So tek back yu chat star becau yer done know wha ya talk bout yer understan pum pum .Cyaan run fi de talk about becau yer done know fi yu chat star.
