REMEMBER them, this weekend.
Reading's main Remembrance parade is at Brock Barracks in Oxford Road on Sunday, November 8, with military and civilian dignitaries set to attend to pay their respects and remember the fallen from past wars and those still being fought.
Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Paul Uden of 7Rifles will host the event and Mayor of Reading Cllr Fred Pugh will also attend.
Cllr Pugh and a representative from the Royal Berkshire Regiment will jointly lay the first wreaths on the Cenotaph, followed by Lt Col Uden, the Royal British Legion and Reading's MPs and representatives of the police.
Gates open at 9.30am and everyone should arrive before 10.30am. Parking is at Wilson Primary School.

ARBORFIELD: 10.30am Parade forms RBL Club car park; 10.45am to war memorial, junction of Eversley, Swallowfield and Mole Road.
ABINGDON: 10am Divine Service at St Helen's Church; 10.50am parade with Abingdon Town Band to Ock Street war memorial.
BEEDON: 2.45pm Parade forms; 2.48pm march to church and then to war memorial in churchyard.
BINFIELD: 9.15am Assemble Binfield Club car park; 9.45am to All Saints Church.
BLEWBURY: 11am RBL members and public, St Michael's Church for wreath laying and service.
BRACKNELL: 10.30am Wreath laying at war memorial outside Royal British Legion Club; 10.35am through town centre to Holy Trinity Church for service, then back to war memorial.
BRIGHTWELL: 10.30am Parade assembles at Red Lion, 10.40am to St Agatha's Church.
BURGHFIELD: 10am Parade assemble at The Hatch, Sulhampstead Road; 10.15am to St Mary the Virgin for wreath-laying at war memorial when Rfn Paul Donnachie's family will lay wreath on his grave. After service back to The Hatch for salute-taking by Burghfield Parish Council chairman, and Air Commodore Jack Frost, CBE DFC DL, President, RBL Burghfield.
CAVERSHAM: 10.25am Assemble Westfield Road Park; 10.35am via Gosbrook Road, Church Street to Promenade Road; 11am service in Christchurch Meadows, attended by family of late Rfn Cyrus Thatcher, then back to the starting point for salute taken by Ron Jewitt, RBL branch president.
CIPPENHAM: 10am Parade from Brook Path to war memorial for 10.30am service.
COLD ASH: 10.45am Parade with detachment of Royal Engineers, Denison Barracks, from Lipscombe Close, Hermitage, to church.
COMPTON: 10.30am Parade from car park at Bell Inn, Aldworth, car park to war memorial outside Aldworth village church.
COOKHAM, COOKHAM DEAN AND PINKNEYS GREEN: 10.50am service at St John the Baptist Church, Cookham Dean.
CRANBOURNE: 10.45am Service at St Peter's Church, Hatchet Lane.
CROWTHORNE: 10am Service at St John's Parish Church, Church Road with Sandhurst Silver band.
DATCHET: 9.35am Parade forms outside Post Office on village green; 9.45am to St Mary's Church for service, afterwards along London Road to village green for wreath laying and silence.
DEDWORTH: 10.45am Assemble CofE Church at Dedworth Road-Clewerhill Road for service, followed by wreath-laying at war memorial outside.
DIDCOT: 2.45pm Parade forms in Edinburgh Drive car park; 3pm to war memorial at Sundial Civic Hall, Britwell Road for service then salute taken by mayor and senior officers from Vauxhall Barracks.
FARINGDON: 9.15am Parade forms at Corn Exchange; 9.30am via Market Place to All Saints church and then to war memorial.
HANNEY: 10.15am Parade forms at RBL "66" Club, East Hanney; 10.25 to West Hanney church and war memorial for 11am service.

HOLYPORT: 11am Service at St Michael's Church, Bray, then Act of Remembrance at Bray village war memorial, and on to Holyport war memorial.
HUNGERFORD: 10.30am Parade assembles Town Hall; 10.40am to Bridge Street war memorial for service and wreath-laying.
HURST AND WINNERSH: 10.30am Parade forms in Castle pub car park, Hurst; 10.45am to St Nicholas Church for service and then outside to memorial for wreath-laying.
KINTBURY: 10.45am Royal Engineers detachment at memorial in St Mary's churchyard followed by church service.
LAMBOURN: 10.45am War memorial in St Michael and All Angels churchyard for wreath-laying, then Reading of Names and Remembrance Day service.
MAIDENHEAD: 10.15am Parade forms in Bridge Street, 10.30am via York Road and St Ives Road to Town Hall memorial, then service in St Mary's Church.
MORTIMER: 10.50am Assemble at war memorial; 11am silence, then parade to St John's Church.
NEWBURY: 10.30am Parade from Park Way, via London Road and Northbrook Street to war memorial at St Nicolas Church for 10.50am service and silence, then church service.
PANGBOURNE: 2.30pm Parade with Pangbourne College Band assembles Horseshoe Road opposite police station; 3pm to Pangbourne Parish Church, laying wreaths at war memorial en route, then back to The Square.
READING: 10.15am muster at Brock Barracks, Oxford Road, with Waterloo Band of 7Rifles, 10.45am service and them Two Minute Silence. Security very tight, no cars, (not even disabled). Car parking in Wilson Road school playground. Allow extra time for security.
READING: 6.15pm Salvation Army Festival of Remembrance, The Citadel, Anstey Road. All welcome.
SHINFIELD: 10.40am from Jacobs UK car park to School Green war memorial for 10.45am service. If wet, service in Shinfield Parish Hall.
SLOUGH: 9.30am Parade from Lady Haig RBL Club to the War Memorial at Baileys Parade. Plus 11am service at Town Hall.
SONNING: 9.50am Parade forms at Pearson Hall, Pearson Road; 10am via Pearson Road, High Street, and The Bull access road to St Andrew's Church and war memorial.
STEVENTON: 10.45am Wreath laying ceremony Milton war memorial then to St Blaise Church; 2.15pm wreath laying at Steventon war memorial and service at St Michael's and All Angels; 6pm Service and wreath laying at St Peter's Church, Drayton.
