A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash in Tilehurst yesterday.

Two cars collided in Norcot Road yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon at around 5.35pm.

Fire crews turned around traffic in both directions after a grey Audi A4 was in collision with a black Renault Clio.

The Clio was forced up onto a grass verge near the junction of Edgar Millward Close and the Audi was left in the middle of the road.

All the emergency services attended the scene as paramedics treated the driver of the Audi, a 36-year-old who was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink-driving. He is currently in police custody. No-one was seriously injured in the accident.
