Concerns over the outbreak of Swine Flu in the borough are deepening after two schools announced lengthy closures.

Pupils at Khalsa Primary School and Wexham Court Primary School have been told to stay away following reports that more youngsters had become infected as the rampant virus continues to spread through the classroom.

A spokewoman from Slough Borough Council revealed that Khalsa Primary School will remain shut for at least the next week, while parents with children at Wexham Court Primary School will be keeping a watchful eye on the situation when the school re-opens on July 2.

All other schools in the area are believed to be open despite a number of isolated instances.

Meanwhile, students and staff at Wexham School have been treated with Tamiflu by medical professionals in a bid to ward of the recent outbreak of Swine Flu at the Norway Drive School.
