POLICE are hunting two robbers who mugged a man walking home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The victim was walking home between 2am and 3am near the corner of Gordon Place and Sherwood Street when two white men approached him and aggressively demanded his cash . After stealing his watch and cash the thugs ran off towards Alma Street.
Both robbers are between 25 and 30 years old, around 5ft 7ins with short brown shaved hair.
The first is skinny, was wearing a green and blue long-sleeved Adidas top with white stripes on the arms, and spoke with a European accent. His partner has a big build and was wearing a vest.
Witnesses who saw the mugging or men matching these descriptions should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
