Lessons brake for cycling fiesta

AN ENTIRE school took part in a cycling challenge to raise money for charity.

Pupils from the Lambrook Haileybury School in Winkfield Row, all participated in the event on Friday.

A number of routes and courses, varying in length, were on offer for the youngsters to cycle around. Tim Potter, organiser of the challenge, said: "We run the cycling challenge every two years and this year it went very well. The children were very excited by it and a lot of them came in fancy dress, ranging from Dennis the Menace to Darth Vader to wearing pyjamas and a dressing gown."

£1,500 was raised.
