A DRIVER was taken to hospital with suspected broken limbs after his car overturned.

Firefighters from Wokingham Fire Station went to Malt Hill in Newell Green, Warfield at midnight after the silver car had come off the road and flipped onto its roof.

A female passenger had been able to get out of the car but the male driver, aged in his 30s-40s, had to be removed by the fire brigade. He was taken by ambulance to Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Firefighters were at the scene for an hour and the road was closed.
