Pupils from the new Floreat Montague Park Primary School were given a valuable lesson in site and road afety after visiting David Wilson Homes Southern’s Montague Park development on London Road.
Simon Kirk, David Wilson Homes’ Technical Director, led 33 school children around the Wokingham site on an educational tour in an attempt to encourage staying safe on building sites.
Paul Crispin, managing director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “It’s extremely important for us to promote site safety as many of our developments have schools nearby.”
We want to urge the children to keep safe and organising these visits are the perfect way to do so.”
Kate Harper-Cole, Headteacher at Floreat Montague Primary School, said: “Our children have been able to see the new homes being built everyday on their way into school.
"They were delighted at the opportunity to get a closer look at the building site and learn the site safety rules.”
Floreat Montague Park is a brand new, high-performing school located on William Heelas Way.
