JOHN NIKE leisure centre will be putting on its 30th ice pantomime this year.

Beauty and the Beast on ice will be the show performed at the ice rink this December.

The show starts on December 13-17, and the first show of the five will be a charity performance.

The cast for the show will feature more than 100 skilful ice skaters from the Bracknell Ice Skating Club, as well as from the ice professionals based at Bracknell.

Characters such as Belle and The Beast will be brought to life with flying jumps, dizzying spins and energetic dance routines.

The show is aimed at all age groups, with the music and colourful costumes sure to excite any member of the audience.

Jacqui Adams will be directing the show, which stars Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman being taken prisoner by a beast in its castle.

She befriends the beast, looking beyond the hideous exterior and allowing her to recognise the heart and soul of the prince on the inside.

The charity show this year will raise funds for Building For The Future, a parent led charity providing activities, support and therapy for children with disabilities and/or additional needs and their families.

Tickets start at £9.45 and can be purchased by phone at 01344789000 or you can visit the website at http://www.jnlbracknell.co.uk/beautyandthebeast/ for more ticket buying options.
