AFTER a tough few weeks for the aviation industry, one airliner teamed up with an Ascot school.
First Ryanair cancelled hundreds of thousands of flights, then Monarch went out of business, so British Airways decided to offer Ascot students a boost in their GCSE efforts.
The pupils of Charters School completed in the BA Language Flag Award, which compliments GCSE coursework, promotes speaking and links languages at school with the world of work.
Mrs Mathews, Curriculum Leader for the Modern Foreign Language Faculty said, “We are very proud that so many of our students worked with us and prepared independently for this prestigious award, especially as BA are no longer offering this for schools. Well done, Charters.”
