LEGO movie stars will be coming to celebrate the opening of a new toy shop.

The Entertainer in the Lexicon will be opening on Saturday August 19, less than a month before the rest of the development throws open its doors for the first time.

To celebrate, characters from the Lego Ninjago film, Kai and Lloyd, will be making an appearance at the store alongside Bumblebee from Transformers.

The popular children's toy shop becomes the second of the stores in the Lexicon development to open, after Marks and Spencers got the ball rolling last month.

As part of a promotion for parents, the first twenty families through the door on Saturday morning will receive a gift card with anything from £5 to £100 loaded on it.

Christian Laville, store manager at The Entertainer in Bracknell, commented: “We couldn’t be looking forward to the Grand Opening more, it’s a great chance to see the packed store for the first time, have lots of photos with favourite characters, and most of all have fun."

Before the store opens for the first time, it will play host to a special trolley dash with children from charity Home-Start Bracknell Forest.

Tessa Dove, Scheme Manager of Home-Start Bracknell Forest, said: “We are thrilled to have been offered the opportunity to take part in this exciting event and look forward to seeing what the new store has to offer."
