A TEN year old entrepreneur has presented a cheque to a cancer charity.
Alea MChala has raised £120 for Cancer Research Wokingham by selling boxes of colourful slime and visited the shop to deliver the cheque.
The St Margaret Clitherow Catholic School pupil came up with the idea to make, package and sell slime - a thick, slippery substance not dissimilar to gunge.
On Sunday she took the fruits of her labour to her school's summer fair, selling 120 £1 boxes to her slime crazed classmates.
"She came up with the idea herself," explained mum Dorra.
"We tried everything, so many different methods, until we found the right one.
"It's a mixture of water, glue, shaving cream, cornflower and soap. It's mainly for kids just to play with.
"We labelled the tubs with different colours, like grassy green and neon yellow. We sold out really quickly and the feedback was fantastic."
Following the success, St Maragarets has agreed to hold a slime making class so pupils can make their own supply.
