CELEBRATIONS were in order as Ascot Farmers Market toasted to its 15th birthday.
The regular fixture at Car Park 3 in High Street welcomed guests in to indulge on Easter Sunday with a special visit from Royal Borough deputy mayor John Lenton, who assisted with cake cutting duties and clinking of glasses.
A special Easter Egg hunt took place for all the children and a bouncy castle provided lots of fun.
The market offers a diverse range of products, including Brazilian cuisine, French patisserie, local honey, hand-made candles, and free-range chickens – all sourced or made locally.
The market is held in Ascot on the third Sunday of every month.
Claudine Andrew, Ascot and Windsor manager, said: "The day was amazing, we had hundreds of people come along.
"What we really want to drum in, is to buy local and eat local as much as possible!'
