BALACLAVA-clad thieves broke into a Bracknell superstore and stole cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
Three offenders, believed to be men who were also wearing gloves, gained entry to Sainsbury's in Bagshot Road at around 3.15am.
James Williams, spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: "We are investigating a burglary at that store.
"Three offenders, believed to be men, entered the store at about 3.15am today.
"They stole cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
"The offenders were wearing balaclavas and gloves.
I"f anyone has any information about the incident please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
"If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
