TWO men are being hunted by police after an elderly woman's purse was stolen from her handbag while out shopping.
Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images of two men officers would like to speak to in connection with a theft in Bracknell.
At around 3.30pm on Tuesday February 14, the victim, an elderly woman, was shopping at Birch Hill when her purse was stolen from her handbag.
The purse contained money and bank cards which were later used to withdraw funds from her account.
Investigating officer PC Daemon Farry based at Bracknell police station said: “I would like to speak to the men in these CCTV images as I believe that they may have vital information that could assist us with our investigation.
“Anyone who recognises them or has any other information can contact me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
“Alternatively if you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
