MINDLESS thugs shoved a dog walker in the back and snatched her handbag.

Between 3pm and 3.30pm on Saturday, February 18 a woman drove to Simons Wood, Finchampstead to walk her dog.

When the woman got out of her car she had parked next to a small black hatchback in Wellington Avenue, she was pushed when her back was turned and fell onto the back seat.

After getting up, she saw the black car driving out of the car park with three men inside she had noticed when she arrived and realised her handbag and dog lead had been taken.

“The location is a busy dog walking site as the car park was full,” said police constable Zoe Eele from Bracknell police station. “We are hoping there may have been witnesses to this incident.”

A spokesman from Thames Valley Police said the woman, in her 40s, was not injured and nothing was said to her by the offenders before, during or after the distressing incident.

She said: “As she tried to park, the only space available was next to a small black hatchback car, which may have been a Vauxhall Corsa or a Ford Fiesta.

“The woman noticed three men stood next to the vehicle and, as she exited here car and went to remove her dog from back seat, she felt a shove to her back.

“The victim then fell into the car. Nothing was said to her and she didn't say anything back. When she stood up to see what had happened, she saw the black car driving out of the car park.

“She then discovered her handbag and dog lead had been taken from her shoulder. She was not injured.

“The offenders are believed to be three white men, aged between 18 to 20 years old. They were all thought to be wearing jeans.”
