PLANS to turn Bracknell's former bus depot into 246 new homes have been submitted to the council.
BBD Homes has applied to build 112 one-bedroom and 134 two-bedroom apartments on the site of the former bus depot in Market Street, 25 per cent of which will be affordable.
The plans also include space for 383 cycle spaces, and 173 parking spaces, along with 130sq metres of commercial space.
If the plans are given the go-ahead, the old bus depot would be demolished and the site redeveloped to make way for the 11-storey and nine-storey buildings.
The consultation period for the plans expires on May 2. To view the plans, visit www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk and search for planning application 18/00326/FUL.
