THREE filmmakers from Ascot are seeing stars after their feature film was selected to be shown at a prestigious festival.

Luke Tedder, Ben Probert and Shane Keen, who are behind Landa Pictures, spent two years working on Precognition, a sci-fi drama which depicts a future where computer technology has been integrated into the human brain.

Following its premiere in February, the film has now been selected to be shown as part of the Sci-Fi London Film Festival 2018.

Producer Ben said: "It was overwhelming to be honest, we’ve been working tirelessly on this project for two years now and we really didn’t know where we were going with it once completed. It was only after watching it on the big screen and receiving such a great response that we decided to enter it into Sci-Fi London and we couldn’t be happier with that decision.

"From the start we agreed that we would make this film and if we were lucky enough for it to go anywhere, we would donate all profits to a local charity Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice. So we’re holding out hope that this could lead somewhere that will help us to support this incredible charity."

The screening will take place at Stratford Picturehouse at 2.30pm on Sunday, May 6.
