HOMELESS cats and dogs will be shown love and care this Christmas as a veterinary hospital pledges to provide care for animals in need.
Moor Cottage Veterinary Hospital in Binfield, Bracknell, has launched its annual Christmas present appeal to raise funds for homeless cats and dogs.
They plan to host fundraising events for local cat and dog rescue centres until December 23.
Claire Meesters, practice manager at Moor Cottage said: “[The appeal] is a chance to give back to the community and welcome clients into the practice for something fun.
“It gets people into the festive mood and clients have enjoyed it for many years.”
The animal hospital will raise funds for charities by selling Christmas gifts to cat and dog owners.
The practice asks pet owners to donate a minimum of £4, which provides a Christmas gift for their pet, such as toys or treats. All proceeds from the appeal are given to the rescue centres.
The animal hospital will collect dog and cat food donations which will also be passed on to the charities.
Anyone is welcome to go along to the hospital to purchase a gift or donate. For more information about the Christmas present appeal, call Moor Cottage on 01344 450345
