Thames Valley Police's Deputy LPA Commander for Bracknell and Wokingham Chief Inspector Sarah Grahame, said: "Thames Valley Police is committed to working in partnership in order to tackle serious and organised crime, through our campaign Stronghold.

"We have been carrying out a number of activities to tackle those who see fit to deal drugs in our communities, often coming from other areas to sell drugs"

"Drug dealing and particularly "County Lines" drug dealing has an effect on our communities and we will not tolerate it or any associated criminal activity, within Bracknell or the Thames Valley.

"As well as working with SEROCU we have been working with local partners at Bracknell Forest Council and Bracknell Forest Homes to offer support to vulnerable people being exploited by drug dealers.

"A one-stop shop was run at New Hope, on Market Street, Bracknell which offered advice on substance misuse, housing and benefits, adolescent drug and alcohol use.

"It is vital that we tackle this issue together and we need the community to keep reporting criminal activity to us so that we can continue to bring offenders to justice."

Councillor Iain McCracken, executive member for culture, resources and public protection, said: "Bracknell Forest Council supports Operation Pester as drug and alcohol abuse has a devastating impact on the safety of the community.

"As part of this support, the council have been providing a dedicated drop-in service to help people recover from drug and alcohol use, to help them avoid losing their home due to their behaviours and keep their children safe."
