TRICK or Treat tourists ruined Halloween for one mum by plundering her sweets bowl.

In preparation for spooky visitors, Jennett’s Park resident Louise Linnett put out an array of sugary treats on the evening of October 31.

A short while later they were gone, hoovered up ghoulish youngsters from outside the suburb.

“Each year we are getting more and more people coming to trick or treat in Jennett’s Park,” she explained.

“All the residents really make an effort to decorate their houses during Halloween.

“In the last few years we have been getting full cars of people coming from other areas and by the time my daughters friends come along, all of the sweets are gone and there are none for them.”

The conduct of the dressed-up day trippers has forced Mrs Linnett to back out of future Halloween festivities.

She added: “It is because of this that I will not be doing Halloween next year.

“There were so many cars parked in the area that people could not get out of their driveways.

“It is just not fair on the local children in the area because they just end up with little or no sweets.”
