The Windsor and Maidenhead Soroptimists welcomed Paralympian Rebecca Gale to their meeting held last Wednesday at Frederick’s Hotel in Maidenhead.

Miss Gale, who won a Bronze Medal for Archery in the 1996 Atlanta games, spoke about her strict training regime undertaken at SportsAble in Braywick Park.

She explained how she prepared for the games and what happened at the event itself.

She has now taken up carriage driving and skydiving encouraged members of the Soroptimists at the meeting to make the most of every opportunity.
