COMMUTERS are using buses less and less, statistics show.
Figures released by Reading Buses show that in Bracknell in the years 2009/2010, 2.1 million people used the bus at least once to get around.
If you compare those figures with 2015/16, you'll find a decline of 300,000.
From 2015-2016, there were 1.8 million bus journeys made.
The study also found that in 2009/10, the average Bracknell resident made 18.5 bus journeys a year, whereas in 2015/16, that has dropped to 15.4 trips yearly.
This number could well rise given the new bus routes going in and out of the Lexicon.
