A MAN suffered an unprovoked assault while on a bike ride with his family.

At around 3.30pm on Saturday, September 2, a 43-year-old man was cycling with his family along Old Priory Road in Warfield when a black Volkswagen Golf and a black hatchback vehicle drove around the corner at speed.

The same cars then drove back down the road to the junction of Old Priory Road, where a passenger in the black hatchback got out and assaulted the cyclist, before running away.

The victim sustained a cut to his mouth but did not require hospital treatment.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses or information following an assault in Bracknell.

The offender is described as a white man, approximately 20-years-old, 6ft 2ins, with brown hair. He was wearing a black sports top which had a pattern of red 49 figures on it.
