A TEENAGE boy pulled out a blade and chased a man before slashing his car tyres.

At around 4pm on Monday, August 28 a teenage boy and a 34-year-old man got into a fight on Bill Hill, Rectory Lane.

The teenager pulled a bladed object out of his waistband, causing the man and his two friends to flee via the underpass towards their car at Boxford Ridge with the offender in tow.

As the victim and his two friends got into their red Ford Fiesta and attempted to start it, the young man punched the passenger side of the vehicle several times.

He then punctured three of the tyres before the victims drove off and called the police.

No one was injured in the attack.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses or information following the incident.

The offender is described as a white male, thought to be in his teens, of a slim build with a spotty complexion. He was wearing a dark beanie hat and dark clothing, and was carrying a bladed object.

It is believed that a couple were getting into their parked vehicle whilst the incident was taking place and may have witnessed it, and police are keen to speak to them to assist with the investigation.

Investigating officers would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence.
