MICHELIN-STARRED chef Raymond Blanc will return to Ascot this weekend to headline the racecourse's Festival of Food and Wine weekend.
The French TV chef will host live demonstrations as the racecourse opens its doors to over 100 food and wine stalls from Thursday, September 7 to Sunday, September 10, with flat racing on the Friday and Saturday.
Mr Blanc will appear alongside Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown as they perform demonstrations on stage. Wine expert Neil Phillips will also be attending.
Jonathan Parker, Director of Food & Beverage at Ascot Racecourse, said: "The Festival of Food & Wine Racing Weekend in September is a culinary highlight, combining two days of exhilarating Flat racing with a four-day celebration of food and wine, with appearances and demonstrations from some of the UK’s top chefs.
"Quality food and drink is an important part of the Ascot Racecourse offering and extends across all 26 of the year’s race days."
