A SPATE of successful and unsuccessful thefts occurred on business premises across Bracknell over the past week.
Sometime between July 7 and July 10, offenders cut through a number of skylight panels in a bid to enter Shopto Net in The Western Centre. Their attempt was unsuccessful.
Two vehicles parked outside Homebase on Wokingham Road were also targeted.
Both Ford Transit vans, one was entered after intruders forced the side door lock and made off with the tools inside. The other van was not breached, with offenders trying and failing to break in.
A further theft involving a motor vehicle occurred at Hilton National Hotel on Bagshot Road between July 7 and 8 when a black Ford Galaxy was stolen.
To wrap up the week on July 11 at 3.20am, offenders smashed through the glass panelled front door of College Town news agents on Yorktown Road.
Once inside, they took all the packets of cigarettes on display, inadvertently set the burglar alarm off and scarpered.
