A TEENAGER was attacked by a gang of youths on Thursday.
At around 3.30pm a 16 year-old boy was approached by a male who was with a group of people in Mill Pond, Bracknell.
The victim was barged, pushed and as he attempted to walk away, grabbed around the neck and pulled to the ground.
Whilst he was on the floor another person punched him in the face.
Posting anonymously on Facebook, the parent of the victim wrote: "My son suffered an unprovoked attack at Mill Pond Park yesterday around 5.30pm.
"He was put in a head lock, thrown to the ground then punched and kicked.
"He spent the night at casualty and needs further treatment for a broken cheekbone and possible broken nose. Unsure at the moment because of the swelling.
"If anyone was around Mill Pond or McDonalds and witnessed anything, please can they talk to the police urgently."
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
