Manning the Teddy Tombola at last Saturday’s Wraysbury Primary School fair was just one of the ways that members of the Parent Teacher and Friends Association raised money to help fund new interactive white boards for the classrooms - not to mention the running of the school’s new mini-bus.

There was also a band to entertain the crowds, a barbecue, home made cakes, plus all the usual traditional stalls including hook a duck and a coconut shy.

A very profitable Silent Auction with generous donations from many local businesses did the rest.

PTFA volunteer Emily Larcombe said: “It was wonderful to see such a great turn out from local villagers supporting our school fair, despite a very wet start.”

The fair had a disco theme this year.
