RELENTLESS thieves who have continuously targeted a shop selling expensive Italian instruments have struck again.

The Piano and Accordion Shop was raided in the early hours of Sunday, April 23 with those responsible leaving with several accordions, police said.

It marks the fourth time, including one botched attempt, that the family-owned shop in London Road has been raided since last August.

A store worker, who asked not to be named, said: “They came in through the roof and just cut through the steel bars as if they weren’t there.”

James Williams, spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said the raid happened at around 1.15am.

He added: "They stole several accordions, including two black Hohner Morino, a black hand excelsior 960, a black Roland FR4X, a black Roland FR8X, a black Bugari Evo Hair  P41 and a red Hand Sonola Festival.

"The burglary is being linked to two other burglaries and an attempted burglary at the shop."

Now the force are releasing images of two men they believe may have information about the robbery last Sunday.

Investigating officer, Andrew Corbett, said: “We are releasing a new CCTV image of two men who might have vital information about the most recent burglary at the shop."

Anyone with information should call 101.
