A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was rushed to hospital after being knocked off his bike in rush hour traffic this morning.
Lucy Billen, spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police, said: "We were called to the Showcase roundabout in Reading Road, Winnersh, at 8.11am following reports that a 12-year-old male cyclist was in collision with a VW Golf.
"The boy was taken to hospital.
"No arrests have been made."
David Gallagher, spokesman for the South Central Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 8.11am reporting a collision between a cyclist - a boy between 10 and 12 - outside the Showcase Cinema in Reading Road this morning. We sent a paramedic team leader and an ambulance to the scene.
"The boy had sustained minor leg and head injuries and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital."
