A CHIHUAHUA having a ruff night had to be rescued by firefighters after it strayed onto a roof and got stuck in a storm drain.
Bracknell Fire Station were called to assist with the rescue of the pet at the Binfield Social Club at around 11pm.
Firefighter Ben Henshaw said he believed the dog got on the roof by wandering onto a block leading onto the roof from an ajdoining property.
He said: "We used one of our power tools to cut open a section of the piping before retreiving the dog."
An animal rescue officer was also on the scene to assist, which took around an hour to retrieve the three-year-old dog.
The owner was reunited with their pet just after midnight.
