EASTER was celebrated with a special bonnet parade at one Wokingham care home.
Residents at RMBI care home Lord Harris Court in Mole Road, made their own bonnets in the week leading up to Easter, using fun decorations from colourful eggs, to feathers and chicks.
Later, the residents modelled their hats for everyone at the Home whilst enjoying tea, and staff handed out gifts of Easter eggs.
“We had great fun at the Easter bonnet parade, and residents enjoyed making their hats whilst sharing memories and stories. It’s always a special time of year for us at the Home and it’s important that everyone was able to take part, especially those who are unable move around easily,” said activities coordinator Hannah Lawrence.
