DENNIS Green was successful in the March Stableford at Iver Golf Club, scoring a very healthy 39 points.

Peter Dewberry was second with 37 points. Lindsay Slade showed the men how it was done by winning the two-ball prize.

Green continued his upturn in form by also winning the Pros Bowl, this time with 32 points was enough. Satinder Sandhu was second on 30 points, on countback from Richard Frewin.

In the vets section, Keith Sawtell and Tina Thomas won the JLP Pairs competition with a nett score of 74. Steve Loosley and John Knox were second with nett 75.

The Champions Cup, open to all tournament winners last year, was won by Sandhu with nett 69. Colin Green was two shots adrift on nett 71.

Bob Jenkins won the first club medal of the season with nett 70. Sandhu was five strokes further back in second place. Loosely took the Seniors Medal with nett 71.

The Iver Vets held their first competition of the season and it resulted in a win for Loosley with 19 points. Peter Crayden was in second place, with Sawtell was successful in the nearest the pin competition.
