RESIDENTS in Bracknell and Sandhurst are being offered the chance to have their say on efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Officers from Thames Valley Police have joined forces with Bracknell Forest Council and other partners to cut down on ASB in car parks and roads.

A 'Have Your Say' meeting is being held on Saturday September 24 at 6pm outside Morrisons at The Peel Centre in Skimped Hill Lane.

Members of the public can also get in touch with neighbourhood officers from the comfort of their home in an online discussion the following Monday from 6pm to 7pm.

The sessions are part of an ongoing operation to tackle issues such as noise pollution and dangerous driving.

Enforcement actions have included seizing vehicles, dispersing people from areas and enforcing Traffic Regulation Orders where appropriate.

The police have also been working with landowners, the council and other agencies to find a suitable location for car enthusiasts to meet in order to minimise the impact on neighbours.

Sgt Cass Oswald, from Bracknell neighbourhood policing team based at Bracknell police station, said: "We are fully aware of the nuisance and concern that anti-social behaviour is causing our residents.

"The two events we are holding are a great opportunity for you to have your say about these issues."
