THREE further arrests have been made in the Langley stabbing investigation.

Police arrested an 18-year-old man this morning on suspicion of assault. He is still in police custody.

A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, both from Slough were arrested last night, and an 18-year-old man from Slough was arrested yesterday morning, all on supsicion of assault. The three have been released on bail until July 22.

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was airlifted to hospital after he was stabbed in Longwood Avenue at 4.45pm on Friday.

He suffered a single stab wound and was in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Senior investigating officer, Det Insp Lee Barnham said: “We are conducting house to house enquiries at this time and there will be extra police patrols in the area during the weekend. If you have any concerns or questions for our officers then please don’t hesitate to stop and speak to them."

Two scene watches were in place, in Longwood Avenue and Harvey Park, and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
