STUDENTS bid an emotional farewell as their seven years at a school came to an end last week.
Year 13 students at Upton Court Grammar School, in Lascelles Road, Slough, said their goodbyes to staff and one another as they marked the end of their time at the school.
In a two-hour assembly, led by former head boy, Joseph Chadwell, there were singing and dancing performances, speeches, awards and video clips celebrating students’ time at the school. Having fun in fancy dress, the eighteen-year-old students reminisced about their experiences and successes, and wished each other well for the future.
Mercedes Hernandez Estrada, Upton Court Grammar School principal, said “This was a very special leavers day, made more so by the moving speeches and generosity of spirit of our wonderful Year 13 students.
"We will miss them and look forward to hearing about their future achievements.”
