THIEVES embarked on a crime spree around Warfield at the end of September stealing from parked cars and sheds.

A pair dressed in dark clothing entered 14 vehicles between Wednesday (Sept 23) and Saturday (Sept 26) stealing items including Tiffany lamps and an electric golf buggy.

All the vehicles were parked in roads around Harvest Ride. 

A shed in Barley Mead was also targeted and two bicycles stolen. 

Starting at around 4.15pm on the Wednesday the streets targeted were: Bernadine Close; Spring Meadow; Oswald Close; Benedict Green; Thomas Drive; All Saints Rise; Barley Mead; Herondale; Roby Drive; Guerdon Place and Hillberry.

The last recorded thefts occurred overnight between Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26.

Det Sgt Stephen Middleweek from Local CID based at Bracknell police station said: “The local Neighbourhood team have carried out increased patrols in both areas supported by the Police Cadets, reassuring residents and passing out crime prevention leaflets.”

“I would like to take the opportunity to remind vehicle owners not to leave objects in vehicles overnight, even when the vehicle is parked near to home. More advice on how to keep vehicles secure overnight can be found on the Thames Valley Police website

“Anyone with information about the incidents should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry line.”

The full list of thefts were as follows:

- A radio, sunglasses and small amount of cash stolen from a vehicle in Bernadine Close between 4.15pm on Wednesday 3pm on Thursday.

- An electric golf trolley was stolen after offenders entered a vehicle parked in Spring Meadow between 8pm Wednesday and 9am on Thursday.

- A rucksack and watch were stolen from a car parked in Bernadine Close between 11pm Wednesday and 9.30am Thursday.

- A vehicle parked in Oswald Close was entered between 6pm Wednesday and 9am Thursday though no items were stolen. 

- A set of golf clubs were stolen from a car parked in Benedict Green between 7pm Wednesday and 7am Thursday.

- A large amount of fishing equipment was stolen from a vehicle parked in Thomas Drive between 10pm Wednesday and 7am Thursday. 

- Offenders targeted three cars in All Saints Rise between 10pm Wednesday and 7am Thursday and stole a car stereo.

- Two bicycles were stolen from a shed in Barley Mead between 8am Tuesday, September 22 and 4pm Thursday, September 24.

- Radio equipment and painting items were stolen from a car parked in Herondale between 3pm Saturday and 11am Sunday. 

- Two umbrellas and a camera were stolen from a car in Roby Drive between 3pm Friday and 11am Saturday. 

- Internal light fittings were stolen from two vehicles parked in Guerdon Place between midnight on Friday and 11.30am on Saturday. 

- Two tiffany lampshades were stolen from a car in Hillberry overnight on Saturday. 

- Nike golf clubs, a Tom Tom and Oakley sunglasses were stolen from a car parking in Roby Drive between 5pm Friday and 1.45pm Saturday.
