ONE of the businesses to move out of Bracknell town centre ahead of its redevelopment has opened up on a new site in Ascot.

Family-owned funeral directors AJ Brooke says it is very much business as usual after settling into the premises on Fernbank Road, North Ascot.

Its previous premises in Broadway is to be demolished later this year, along with other buildings, in the street, to make way for Bracknell's new shopping and leisure development.

AJ Brooke is run by husband and wife partnership Gemma and Dan Pacitto, with Gemma's sister Lisa, 25.

Mrs Pacitto, 35, said: "It's about making a friendly environment, making people feel at home.

"Our selling point is the reason why families come back to us. I arrange the funeral and conduct the service and look after their loved-ones."
