College students enjoy beauty evening

VISITORS to Bracknell and Wokingham College were offered an array of mini treatments and pampering demos at a beauty evening last Tuesday (December 11).
The level 3 beauty students from the Church Road school's Harmony Hair and Beauty salon invited customers along to enjoy electrical facials, skin-care consultations, Indian head massages and hot stone rituals.
Guests were also able to buy skincare kits at discounted rates and were served drinks, nibbles and given goody bags.
Beauty lecturer Hilary Tully said it was a "great evening" and that the students would "love to do it again".
She added: "The event was an opportunity for the students to showcase the services we offer at Harmony and they had to organise this as part of their course to prepare them for salon life.
"It attracted both new and existing clients and enabled them to book in for the new year at discounted rates."
