Hot stuff: Daruchini restaurant manager Sultan Chowdhury with staff members and their certificate.

AN INDIAN restaurant has clinched its second award in three years.

Binfield's Daruchini was opened in Forest Road following the success of its sister restaurant, The Cinnamon Tree, which has received five awards since opening in 2005.

But now it is Daruchini's turn, and its delectable dishes, helpful staff and clean premises mean it has been given the AAA Award Of Excellence accolade for high-quality across all areas.

Owner Ronney Rahman and his staff are delighted with the award and he said: "We'll be working very hard to achieve this award again next year.

"I feel very grateful and over the last three years we've created a very good reputation in the area - we get people travelling from Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham and Sandhurst.

"It's a great feeling.

"The food is really excellent and so is the cleanliness of the restaurant."

Daruchini is open every day, noon-2.30pm and 6-11pm, with a buffet menu on Sundays.
