A MOBILITY scooter service based in Slough has changed hands following the retirement of the owners.
Alan and Jeanne Jones had owned Mobility Supplies, based in the Age Concern Used Furnitue Warehouse on the Slough Trading Estate for the past 12 years, but have passed on control of the business to Mobility Scooters Ltd.
Mr Jones said: "We are sad to finish, but delighted that we have reached agreement with Mobility Scooters Ltd to continue our work here in East Berkshire"
Mobility Scooters Ltd already have existing outlets in the Wellington Shopping Centre, in Aldershot, the Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot and on King's Street Lane in Winnersh.
Martin Wood, managing director said: "We are absolutely delighted to add the Slough site to our operations and be able to help generate funds for Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East to assist in their valuable work here.

Mobility Scooters Ltd supply and service a range of new and used mobility scooters, stair lifts, rise and recline chairs, adjustable beds, wheelchairs and walking and bath aids.
