Change of hands for Slough-based mobility scooter provider company

Alan and Jeanne Jones had owned Mobility Supplies, based in the Age Concern Used Furnitue Warehouse on the Slough Trading Estate for the past 12 years, but have passed on control of the business to Mobility Scooters Ltd.
Mr Jones said: "We are sad to finish, but delighted that we have reached agreement with Mobility Scooters Ltd to continue our work here in East Berkshire"
Mobility Scooters Ltd already have existing outlets in the Wellington Shopping Centre, in Aldershot, the Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot and on King's Street Lane in Winnersh.
Martin Wood, managing director said: "We are absolutely delighted to add the Slough site to our operations and be able to help generate funds for Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East to assist in their valuable work here.
"Both Mobility Supplies and ourselves have built excellent reputations for outstanding customer service and value for money and we will continue to do so in this new and important venture.
"We look forward to serving the local community and continuing to build our vision of becoming the best and most reputable supplier of mobility products in the south of England."
Mobility Scooters Ltd supply and service a range of new and used mobility scooters, stair lifts, rise and recline chairs, adjustable beds, wheelchairs and walking and bath aids.
