A TEENAGER’S bicycle was stolen by a man who had asked to buy it off him.

The youngster was riding along the footpath which runs between Bagshot Road and Bracknell Leisure Centre when the theft happened.

A man stopped to ask to buy the bike but the boy refused. The offender then took the bicycle off him and rode off towards South Hill Road.

The boy was uninjured in the incident, which happened around 5.30pm on Thursday last week (October 2).

The man is white, in his early to mid twenties, 6ft and muscular. He has short dark hair, which was gelled forward, and was wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.

The bicycle is a BMX with ‘James’ written on the side in marker pen. The main frame of the bicycle is green and yellow, although the front tyre and handlebar ends are pink and the front forks are black. The seat has a camouflage pattern with ‘DB’ written on it.
