FIREFIGHTERS dealt with three arson attacks around the Reading area overnight.

A garage block in Monkley Court, just off Piggotts Road in Caversham, was set alight, causing serious damage to a Chrysler Classic and 10 wheelie bins just after midnight, and police are linking that with another incident at 1.06am when a fire crew was called to deal with a blazing wheelie bin in Star Road, Caversham.

Nobody was hurt in either incident and witnesses to the Caversham blazes should contact PC Gemma Jerome on 08458 505505.

A garage in Meadow Way, Theale, was also hit by arsonists at around 11.30pm.
