Three more arrested in murder hunt
THREE more men have been arrested in the hunt for stabbed teenager Robert Spence’s killer.
A 29-year old man from Bristol was arrested today, following the arrests last night of a 27-year-old and a 30-year-old, also from Bristol, on suspicion of murder. All three are in police custody.
Robert, 17, who was known as Junior and Bevels, died from a single stab wound to the heart after an incident in Reading’s St Mary’s Butts in the early hours of Friday May 2.
A total of seven men have now been arrested. Three have been released without charge, and on Sunday a 27-year-old man who was arrested in Bristol last Thursday [15], was bailed until Thursday June 5.
